Digging for Gold

What girl doesn't want a man that has money. Every since childhood we hear of prince charming coming and saving the girl,broke men can't do that. So we fantasize what he will be like and sometimes over-look the average joe's. What fairytales don't share is that most men that have money are either assholes or to guarded due to females. Gold diggers,what really classifieds a woman as a gold-digger? Is it cause she uses what she has to get what she wants?. I mean some men can see it coming and don't have a problem spending the money as long as they are satisfied in return. So to me its like a barter system(one trade for another).

My friend Tia will not date a man that doesn't come with money,she thinks she deserves better and will only be with those that can give it to her. We all want that but in many cases that doesn't happen so we date the regulars. One would think to be envious of her gifts, trips and overall lifestyle but there are things that we have that she may never get to witness. They say its the small things that matter most but with the men she dates its never small only grand gestures to substitute for their lack of knowing one another. She will never meet his family, never know his whereabouts or his true feelings cause they have an arrangement. Who does Tia call when she has a bad day, feels sick or needs some help,not the man she's digging for gold from.

So when it boils down to love or money which side are you pulling for?
